    The fluoride dosing facility servicing Brisbane’s major water treatment plants at Mt Crosby will be taken off line for a major upgrade.

    The Holts Hill Fluoride Dosing Facility provides fluoridation for treated water produced at the Mt Crosby East Bank Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and West Bank WTP, which supply the majority of treated drinking water to Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan.
    Acting Seqwater chief executive officer Dan Spiller said the upgrade would allow for the ongoing safe fluoridation of drinking water provided by both plants into the future.

    The Bills Link mountain bike trails at Lake Wyaralong remains temporarily closed until further notice.

    The trail needs substantial repair works, and will remain closed until this work is complete.

    All other trails at Lake Wyaralong are open for the public to enjoy.

    Please play it safe and exercise caution on the trails as conditions may have changed since your last visit.

    Lake Kurwongbah is temporarily closed to all in water activities due to high levels of bacteria detected during routine testing.

    The cause of the increase in bacteria numbers is not yet known. The closure is a precautionary measure in the interest of public safety. Exposure to the bacteria could result in gastroenteritis-like symptoms.

    We are performing regular water quality testing and will re-open Lake Kurwongbah to in water activities as soon as possible.

    Please follow the direction of staff and signage on-site.

    Seqwater will be conducting pipeline maintenance near the corner of Jenkinson Street and Russell Terrace, Indooroopilly starting Monday 30 October 2017.

    Work is expected to take about three weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions and other unexpected delays. To minimise traffic impacts, working hours will be between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
